Loin tämän sivun äidilleni, Ilona Jahkolalle, vuoden 2010 äitienpäiväksi. Hän on rakas ja rakastava äiti, ja maalaa vesivärimaalauksia; joitakin on galleriassa. Hänellä on myös ollut monia näyttelyitä Keski-Suomen alueella, ja seuraava galleria-esitys on Jämsässä kesäkuussa.
Ilona viettää talvet Espanjassa isäni Ismon kanssa, ja nauttii kesistä Suomessa. Kuva on otettu jouluna 2009 Mar Menorin suola-altailla.
Maalauksien koko on n. A3-A2. Uusia maalauksia lisätään ajoittain.

I created this page for my mom, Ilona Jahkola, for Mother's Day 2010. She is a loved and loving Mom, and an accomplished watercolor painter, and you can find some of her paintings in the gallery. She has had several exhibitions in central Finland over the years, and has one coming up in June in Jämsä. Please leave a guestbook entry (vieraskirja)!
Ilona lives in the Mar Menor area in the warmth of Spain with her husband and my dad Ismo in the winters, and they move north each year to enjoy the gorgeous Finnish summers. The image is of them on Christmas 2009 by the salt pools of Mar Menor.
The size of the paintings vary, between European A3 to A2 paper sizes. Please note all of the watercolor paintings currently displayed on the site have been sold. We will add more paintings soon, some of them unsold.
